Reflections Poem by Cormac S G Hoare

Reflections

Loving you is as a summers day
Nothing yet can obstruct our way
The skies overhead are blue and clear
Not a worry in the world, my dear
Can ruin what I feel for you
Lord above knows it true
Though a non-believer once was i
Reconsidered now have I
You are worldly beauty made divine
Better yet than the reddest wine

Your smile still to me is fine
Certainly not one to decline
Your scent so sweet to smell
That everybody else can tell

I try to lean to smell it better
And follow the book right to the letter
The one that guides us in to love
Scriptures learned right from above
No God amongst the world is there
The universe certainly does not care
But I for you most surely do
I swear it now to show it true
