Reflections Of Lost Love Poem by Laura Kae

Reflections Of Lost Love

Today was the day I went to that place where we once were,
And I sat in the place where you once sat,
And let my tears fall in the place where your hands once touched.
And, oh, how I mourned you.
But how can I save you when I can’t even save myself?
Your eyes are as black as night, and tell me of a dark future.
But oh how I long for you so,
And wish I could feel the weight of your presence on me once again.
