Refrigerator Insufficiency Poem by The Grandmother is Watching

Refrigerator Insufficiency

Spent a childhood wishing I could grow up
Floating on the clouds that surrounded me
Act out the future with mom's coffee cup
Completely unaware, I want to be

Just like them, dull, no imagination
All work, no play, makes johnny a dull boy
Adults only work, bland concentration
Children excited, expecting plain joy

Let us learn to be spontaneous too
Ev'ryday things, shapeshifting, beguiled
Laughing with noone, as children can do
Imagine the world through the eyes of a child

Remember from youth, no need to be right
Imagination as useful as sight
