Regret Poem by Art Aquino

Haunted by my past,
We simply just did not last
Though it's real hard to forget,
I still carry my huge regret.

I tried to move on, but where do I start?
Anyway and anyhow you just stayed in my heart
So in my heart you will never be replaced,
To have you back would be hard as a maze

With my decision, I've been torn apart
How I wish we could go back and start
But somebody already owns your heart,
If it would end that way, I guess I did my part.
