I know there's nothing in life but pain,
And nothing but torment yet to be,
Thats why its better to reign in hell than rule in heaven,
Its better because you'll never be free!

God looking down and the Devil looking up,
Trying to decide what your end's gonna be,
Both playing cards for the fate of your soul,
'Cause they both know you'll never be free!

Allways heading one way or the other,
Down to ghenna or up to the Throne,
Wherever you go there'll be someone above you,
I think it should be ME!

Better to reign in hell than rule in heaven,
Better to be the king of all the damned!
Better to be the one they're all afraid of,
Better because they'll never understand!

Theres nothing in life but pain and misery
Nothing that anyone can ever do to help you
Nothing is left but to suffer and see
That its better to rule in hell then reign in heaven!

I wanna be the king of all thats awful
I wanna be the lord of all the pain!
I wanna rule over the damnation
That waits in store for me!
