Rebuffed, my advances,
Turn a blind eye, to my glances;
And yet, sometimes,
You betray your own senses.
I have a palm full of sunshine, you see not,
I am burning under covers of ice, you forgot.
I am like a stranded island, a flightless bird,
Which yearns to be free.
I contain the echo of seven seas within me,
And still:
Still You do not see.
You see, fool me not.
Many a times, you’ve been caught.
Trying desperately, not to seem like one.
Do you take me to be someone;
Who’s a fool? Or plain stupid,
Do you feel, your silence, is enough to play the Cupid,
And force me to break mine?
Nay, what will fetch, your action
Is an equal and opposite reaction.
I am out of my mind,
But I haven’t left the cradle of science.
Serves me right, for I am not blind.
Rebuff more;
So that I can retreat
Into the blinding alleys,
Amidst the dark and dusty streets.

I would like to translate this poem
Rejection isn't the problem but what is how to get up off the ground of the dusty street. Well done.
