Rejuvenated Poem by Vijay Sood

Rejuvenated

Rating: 5.0

As I open my senses to the world
Each morning I soak up sunshine
Can't help but feel gratitude
For this, another day of mine

As I savour nature around me
I relish the gifts God showers
The whistling of the birds and
The blue sky above that towers

And I feel rejuvenated

The dew upon the green grass
Caress with love, my bare feet
As I soak up the early freshness
And the cool breeze, mildly sweet

There's exuberance at being alive
I just need to acknowledge this
As I begin to count my blessings
My life suddenly turns into bliss

And I feel rejuvenated
