Relationships............
Start off slow..........
Lots of laughter and anxiety............
It goes at a steady pace.........
Then it gradually gets a little faster...............
Then all of a sudden it drops.................
Your heart rate increases.........
You start to panic............
It twist and turns.....
Turning your stomach upside down...........
Your head begins to ach...
Your ready for it to be over.............
Scared and in regret.............
Relationships............
My heart takes a still moment.........
My lungs are about to collapse..........
Steady thoughts begin to crash in my mind........
My head begins to pound.........
I wish I never heard of the word.............
Relationship.............
It rapes me of my security..........
It takes away my trust.........
It disrupts my spare time.........
Destroying my image.........
Relationships......
Points a knife towards my heart..........
Daring me to move an inch forward.........
Over and over again my body gets weak...........
I loose feeling for others............
I'm deaf to those who care for me..............
I’m becoming blind of my own needs............
Relationships............
Stirs me in many directions...............
But which path should I take? .............
No one knows that answer............
They say follow your heart..................
Um-mm What heart? ...............
Oh, you mean the one I had............
It was destroyed..............
Taken advantage of............
Beaten until it swelled.............
Bleeding until there was no more blood it can shed............
Relationships..................
Bruised my skin.............
Pulled out my hair..............
Stomped on my feet..............
Watched me trip up and fall.............
Pushed my face in the dirt..................
Jumped on my back............
Then smiled.................
As the tears rolled down my face............
