There are times
When I wish I could just leave,
Run away from all my situations
And then dropp to my knees.....
I cry out to you
When I'm happy and in my sleep
Just hoping you are with me
Even through my misery..........
Father I know
There's some things I shouldn't do,
But like a stubborn child,
The hard way is what I choose...
Not knowing the consequences of my actions
But yet eager for satisfaction...
Sometimes I wonder
What's my purpose in life
What is it that I'm doing
For you to continue to treat me right
I think to myself over and over
When will you take it all away
But steady you keep blessing me, ...
Even when I forget to pray....
Father I realize that I have done wrong,
So I'm looking at my faults
Please don't leave me on my own......
Lord take me away
To your promised kingdom up high
Renew my soul, help me change my life,
I know I have to be willing
I want my life to be right
Father please take me away into the light
Take me away from all this pain I feel
I don't want to be the same
Take me out of these childish games
I keep finding myself in,
Help me grow stronger for you father,
Take me away from it all
From my downfalls....
Lord just take me away...............
