Relatives Poem by Alan W. Jankowski

Relatives

At family gatherings throughout the year,
There are those who add to the holiday cheer,
Those who brighten up your day,
Every time they come your way.

Most are a pleasure to be around,
As fine as any friends I’ve found,
But, there are a few I’d like to loose,
If I could only pick and choose.

Some that are a pain in my rear end,
I’d like to delete like a Facebook friend,
Others who insist they are family,
But sure don’t look a thing like me.

Others who are annoying beyond belief,
Whose only purpose is to bring me grief,
They’ll have to get along on their own,
They are not going to get another loan.

The problem with relatives is understood,
You have to take the bad with the good.
Though some I wish would get lost at sea,
They probably think the same of me.

09-11-11.

Relatives maybe how or bad but we have to accept them as they are; cause they are your near ones. Thanks for sharing.
