Relax Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

Relax

Dry your bitter tears, O wounded heart
You have wept to the utmost limit
It has served the purpose;
Your heart has not split
Your tears have redeemed your bereavement
Seagulls hovering over the tumultuous waves depart at last
So parting falls inevitably to the lot of the mortal
Take heart, you have had a meeting wonderful
Glory in your memories sweet until your own farewell
Who can tell what awaits you afterwards?
Let the hidden now emerge in its due course
Once more greet your grief, then relax in acceptance
