Prepare for us pastures free from fear
O children and children's children,
Follow my lead, awake harp and lyre
May the dawn break out in a dazzle of colours
Radiant, jubilant, exultant
Give the command, O Heavenly Father
The Universe entire would whisper syllables sweet
As sweet as sweet could be in the First Morning
Out of compassion, Love Incarnate, supremely blest
May Thou be pleased to release nectar divine
For those adventurous enough to swallow venom mundane
