Relaxing By The Bay Poem by Marcus McKinley

Relaxing By The Bay

From the cliffs edge, cresting peaks
Gaze upon a pristine view
Gazing back control it takes
Hypnotic, this aquatic hue

Smooth, steady motion
Smooth, steady ocean
Pounding waves
In shoreline caves

Crashing down upon familiar sands
Determined in its mission
Carving deep its passion
Echoing across the lands

Vacillating soft lips roam
Undulating the ebb and flow
Surging forth a swelling tide
Occasionally choking on the foam

Such freedom is the souls release
Amid the soothing waters peace

Now this is the type of poem I really adore. Every line was so beautiful, I couldn't choose just one to mention.
