Release Me Poem by Sludy Ma C Lela

Release Me

Rating: 5.0

I have tried to hold it down
But who'll refund me
Time I lost falling down
If I'm on trial God forgive me
I might let you down

I lost my sight during the race
See the scars on my face
Missing shoes in the bushes
In love depression for days
Left with only empty wishes

I let love tow me around
Accepting the unacceptable
Overlooking the sign of blindness
Crawling for wrong before right
Living like a prisoner in cell
My soul burning in hell
I sold my body and mind

Don't be fooled by my teeth
Silence disclose the truth
Accusation emotional violence

My love for you was real
But you were blind to see
The truth you were craving
Till the last moment I was living
That's when you decide
To let go what you've been hearing

Unfortunately it was too late
I'm no longer sightless
I can clearly see
The evil behind that beauty
I know my love was never enough
Release me from these chains
And let me walk free
