Religion Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Religion

Rating: 4.5

You have not seen my original form yet.
I am a tortured, raped and fearless woman
Wearing the costume of politics and religion
To expose the nakedness of modern religion..

This is I who gave birth to
Politics and religion.
For many many years
Many races have grown up on my breasts.

The world has gradually become narrow
To come into a nano sim.
Politics has been found naked today
Even at noon in the bed of religion.

Choking the throat of holy religion,
The monster has worn his mask.
Filled with lust he is found drunken
Even in the house of God.

In the daytime or at night,
At every holy place
From the children to women, everyone
Is being raped by the messengers of God.

No power will be able
To stop my breathing.
I will be raped again and again
To dig the graves of politics and narrow religion.
