Remember Poem by Thomas Foreman

Remember

Rating: 5.0

To hold you in my arms once again
Even though you are no longer here
But in a different place

Sudden tears rush in by way of incense and ocean breeze
Dusty pictures that were once clean savor in treasured ease
I feel you, but just for an instance
Yesterday has passed, but these memories remain bound
In weightful sway
A painful remembrance carefully wrought in what was once
A gentler way

Memories in tender love remain in heartful share
Time and circumstance resolves in willful declare
To live in vibrance on differing measure
Held in faith and aware of each other

I remember your joyous laughter unbridled and wild
Whenever I hug anyone or share in genuine smile
I will give to them what you have given to me
Empathy feels in hurtful heart
With these tears in my eyes, shall we never part?

Grief is swift, hope is not as so
Let your heart set out on this journey
Let yourself go

New words: vibrance, heartful and weightful
