Remember Adolescence Poem by Rabi Anata

Remember Adolescence

I danced around my room
To the sound of M83
The song was 'Run Into Flowers'
Playing euphorically
My hair whipped around my shoulders
While I leaped with my eyes closed
I payed no attention to anyone's orders
Because I was so into this song
Everything around me seemed to fade
And disappear so that it was only my body
Moving and meshing with the sound
My door was shut tight to block everyone out
And lock the music inside
By myself and no one else
I had a perfect time
