Remember Last Year Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I well remembered last year
Nothing to appreciate much or like to hear
It was as usual great year to live with and remember
I remained calm during the period and behaved as good member

I don’t know how the New Year will start or commence
I have great expectation from it hence
I must fully gear up to meet it at once
I have vowed to keep the positive stance

Not to bear any hard feelings and nicely describe
Opening up of fresh page from book to inscribe
The short coming of yesteryear and not to repeat
Make all effort to strengthen the relation and make very sweet

It is nice to adapt to new change
It is demand of the age
More you drift to days less is concern
But certainly the mark improvement in turn

It does not need any “u” turn
You must acknowledge and return
To your good qualities to surface
And leave behind everything without trace

This is exactly what is expected of and must be done
Whatever has been done is totally forgotten
Coming cays must prove fruitful and decisive
It must end with success and look positive

The festivals are meant for arousing passion
Brotherly attitude for fellow brethren with compassion
If need be with frank and open admission
All will be well when seen it as submission

Why make life so vulnerable?
When we are absolutely capable
The future can be shaped if not decided
Rest all will look fine and coincided
