Remember The Sabbath Poem by Panagiota Romios

Remember The Sabbath

πŸ’’

The Word of God is specific:
"Remember the Sabbath, to
keep it holy."
No worldly goods nor sports,
can bring the peace of Him to
thee!

He never said, as far as I know,
"Remember to keep holy the
Wal-Mart nation! "
If you can, put on your finest and
in a Church be, a man, woman
or child~ that is a sensation!

Do not dishonor Him with jeans!
He is your God and will not be pleased.
He is coming back, so best be
ready.

Getting into heaven with what
you ate or football games or
movies on Sunday....
Are not tickets into the pearly
gates.
This life passes all too soon.

So better pencil in God on that
busy schedule of yours.
And I will do mine.
Eternity is a long, long time!
May it be yours and mine,
In His Presence, so Divine.

Remember to forgive others, too.
He died for you.
