Remembering, A Tribute To Princess Diana Poem by Ethereal Eden

Remembering, A Tribute To Princess Diana

We were living a collective dream,
Where fairy tales can come true.
When you were chosen by the Royal Prince,
We lived our dreams out through you.
Beautiful child, of sapphire and gold,
Rekindling fires, that long had grown cold.
Virginal bride, in ivory and lace,
Consummating a global embrace.

Remembering, a royal rose,
Her Majesty, the people chose.
Remembering, oh, oh, oh, oh
Diana, you will always be,
Queen of our hearts.

Turn the page, chapter two,
Happily ever after, wasn't written for you.
Though you bore sons, as heirs to the throne,
Still, you were slighted, and felt so alone.
One day those walls, came crashing down,
Destroying dreams and smashing your crown.
And though your life, in ruins lay,
You would heal and fly faraway.

Remembering, a royal rose
Once so full of life
But now, in deep repose.

A second chance or a summer's romance?
Ah, but we'll never know.
Your mystery in history
Will only grow.

Remembering, oh, oh, oh, oh
Diana, you will always be,
Queen of our hearts.

She was a young lamb to the slaughter, from where I was standing EE! lol She grew into her position in life, and hey! as to conspiracy theories, just take a look at history! She was a star and left her boys to shine on...she is there, somewhere in them and I am sure they will continue in her heart felt steps. Nice write. She would love it. Smiling at you Tai
