Remembering The Sweet Taste Of First Illusion

remembrance of golden years
that i never forgot
nor could i forget
the days of high school
in which i waited
would see his face
fair complection
so tall, owning every room he walked on
lips of red pale ruby
golden hair in my eyes a sun
and in my heart a beat devout of hope
yet one day
as if the air took mercy on my soul
passing by
i saw his face
i saw him
and to my dismay he saw me
the sudden blushing innocence upon my face
gave me away
and he understood
understood my unspoken love
like a deer caught in the headlights
i froze
but my inner child as menace
forced me to smile
guessing my inner turmoil
looking straight into my eyes
just as a kindred soul taking pity on me
as a favour to end my misery
he said
i hope u understand
and i understood
but none the less
the benevolence of the favour remained
sure it was not love
but as there was no hope
there was no harm
just a lucky moment
where the air took mercy on my soul
a piece of time
a beautiful moment in time
the kind gesture got stored
in the most tender corner of my being
that day has long passed
but its remains surprise
my inner child's moment of content
and time will pass
and has passed
his memory now that one
just won't die
