Remembrance Poem by Christopher Taber

Remembrance

Remember that night we both leaned in and our lips met in the middle,
Remember that soft touch,

At the time I never really thought much,
About that kiss,
I told myself just relax …enjoy this,
I just let it all out and right into you,
Did you feel it to?

At the time I never really thought much,
About that kiss,
And all the feeling that came with it…happiness and bliss,
It wanted it to last all night,
I never knew anything could feel so right.

At the time I never really thought much,
About that kiss,
But now it pains me just to think back…and reminisce,
I don’t regret things that have been done,
But living this life now is just no fun.
