I will always remember way back when,
When Daddy was much younger then,
When he was standing at Mom's side:
All the times we shared before he died.
I remember both my grandfathers too,
And the things they would say and do.
The uncles in my family are never rare,
As well as the funny stories they share.
My brothers and I are now on our own:
We now know life since we have grown.
Although my parents never knew divorce,
And neither my grandparents, of course,
I will eternally remember way back when
Because of the influence of all these men.
