Rendezvous Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

There is a place I want to go
Where velvet soft whispers cross the plateau
Of cotton cloud linens that layer us in
And passage to paradise longs to begin

Birth of the senses as never before
Natures creation we yearn to explore
This oasis a haven for volitional hearts
A map is not needed nor light to impart

Under the clouds we search for the shore
Wave after wave thirsting for more
Till lost are the wishes spoken by you
This place where the whispers meet rendezvous
