Republicans Poem by Randy McClave

Republicans

Dear, dear Republicans
We are Americas fathers, mothers, daughters and sons,
Please, unto us be sincere and honest
Where is your alternative to ObamaCare that you had promised.
When the last Republican was president
A better healthcare in his term he promise was present,
But, the healthcare he promised was never there
Now, I thank God that we still have Obamacare.
You haven't passed or fought for a single job bill in eight long years
Instead you have fought against Americans with lies and fears,
And then when many worker's stomachs did cry
Why did you think minimum wage of 7.25 is to high.
You think you and CEOs don't make enough
You think that you and their roads are more stressful and tough,
So, before you and the wealthy sing me the blues
Why don't you try on the worker's shoes.
Why do you support politicians who constantly tell lies
Where you and them see that as a great prize,
Then how dare you call you or yourselves a Christian
Unto you or their speeches do you truly never listen.
In the Bible have you not ever read
In the Bible did you read what Jesus had said,
Remember in John 14: 6 the Lord said this without a why
Never listen to a person who's says it's okay to lie.
Dear, dear Republicans this is what I will ask
What have you done to help the hardworking middle class,
What have you done to help the seniors and the veterans
While we supported you with our votes and served with our guns.
I remember when you proposed and rejoiced for a border wall
But, over it or though it anyone could climb or crawl,
Now a new President is clamping down on illegal border crossings
Now you're a against his immigration deal aimed at the haltings.
You forgot who we all were
You just cared only to get elected and for yourself to prosper,
This upcoming election when I stand in line to vote
I promise you, I'll remember all the politicians and the lies spoke.
