Resettled Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Resettled

Resettled

I am child escaping from mom's spanking
I ran back to your arms, life-taking
I hate you but who else
Can go to, can I see?

With your tongue and culture you raised me
Therefore you are only, the only and only
I know well I hate you, you hate me
But where else can I go, refugee?
