Resilience Poem by Bree Z Love

Resilience

Found in my hips.
As, I thrust forward.
With no shame. Read my lips.
Depression will not make me its coward.

Learned behavior.

Found in my feet.
As, I bounce back.
With adrenaline to defeat.
Minor knock downs by enemies attacks.

Learned behavior.

Found in my hands.
As, I position them; clamped tight!
With this amour at hand.
Adversaries will have a mighty fight!

Learned behaviors.
I learned behaviors through trials;
how to be a resilient fighter that the law allows.
A well tested, true survivor.
