For the first time in my career trembled my skilful fingers
And my heart throbbed faster than ever with an unprecedented terror
As I did physical examination of the mouth with the help of a small mirror
I checked the teeth and gums for any sign of gingivitis with utmost care.
But my heart dictated me to keep cool and be bolder
And to take this as an opportunity to prove that I'm no longer a poor performer
Looking at her composed and confident posture
I took a bold resolution
To make her teeth healthy and shine like pieces of dazzling diamonds.
Using a scaler I scrapped the spots having deposites of more tartar,
To clean the debris I rinsed her mouth with fluoride and cool water
I felt lucky to treat the mouth, a fountain of loving words and wisdom
That watered aims of many
And helped them to grow luxuriantly laden with colourful fragrant flowers.
These are the lovely teeth of none other than my loving teacher
Which must shine like pearls to inspire
And shape the future of many more in the coming years.
