Resound The Fear Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Resound The Fear

Resound the fear
commonly spoken
in bones thus thrust
across the earth

resound my dear
bones thus broken
in ashen dust
across the earth

resound the songs
now on silent the lips
when water prolongs
passages of ships

throughout the nightsky
untill the dawn
resting on a firefly
dying in a moan

resound the fear
let it teach a life
a bone sound to your ear
and your flesh under knife

when the blood spills cells
of long forgotten history
when each colour tells
a secret sacred story

sacrificed victimized
memorized forgotten
sacrificed victimized
memories ill-gotten
