Restlessness Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Restlessness

It is better to have good nights
Than to have no delight
Restless hours make us to bother
Before sleep orders us to surrender

Each time you die
While in sleep you silently enjoy
The horrified or beautiful dreams
With glorious picture of sun beam

It irritates mind
When interrupted
With heavy knock on the door
You are down on the floor

It happens
Very often
That refuge is found
In sound sleep’s round

You are sitting on thrown
With so many people shown around
Everybody bows head in recognition
And you are seized with unforgettable occasion

Restlessness
