Restraint Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Restraint

Restraint

Patience brings some calm
There is no harm
If followed with restraint
It shall remove pain

Hurry brings worry
And makes chance very much gloomy
No decision is worth consideration
If that lacks mature elevation

So let us practice
And promise
To handle it with care
And not dare in haste

Patience earns you time
And you are able to tackle sometimes
The course you adopt makes some sense
And this removes the situation to become tense

So calm down
And make it known
That you shall not be cowed down
But face it with restraint shown
