Swarms of larval words
devour decaying thoughts
Cobwebs of restraint hold vacant shells
of ideas, once vibrant, sucked dry
Now hollow husks echo
strung from nails of rust
covered with age's dust
Writing's gallows
where resurrection men
steal the dead,
draining ink from their veins,
pealing back their sentence skin,
revealing gramatical guts
but not its breath
