Returning To Hamelin

maybe they will return
the children of numinous grace
crowned in their apple blossom crowns
and not from the marketplace
joyous their laughter alive
beyond what is sullen on earth
children without disguise
given a second birth
summer is in their eyes
summer and nothing of dearth
Eden lays out it carpets of green
fresh meadows of gleam
the seen and unseen
Together, in storied mirth.
