Throughout the years, I wondered, did you ever care?
Wiped away endless tears felt alone and scared

I'd Never understood why, but, i was lost and confused
Couldn't just give up on you. I could never, so I refused
to accept that you would do the same to me

There was no need for you to apologize
I still wanted you in my life

I can't pretend like you didn't exist
Deep down in my heart I knew the answer
I'd wrap my arms around you to hug you
placed my lip on your cheek so you'd feel my kiss

Years and years would pass and i was upset
the day I heard, 'I Loved you' was the day I'd accept
apart of you died the minute i left
as it did I

You may have left, but you still cared
without you in my life, i was scared
but now that you're here, all them angry thoughts and feelings died
the minute you re-entered my life
