Ring The Alarm Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Ring The Alarm

he only wants you to have his baby
and getting married is a maybe
he can't guarantee your safety
When he's swallowed by the ills of the world
and you won't be his only girl
no, no, no...
Ladies, if he wants you,
it is only for the night and it's wrong
but that's what the on sought
of depression do when he feel alone
and don't expect him to treat you
right because of your only use
is to be at his expense
that is every beck and call
Ladies, Let your sunshine,
where those rays blind
impending danger make it
so they won't come your way
Ladies, Let no boy
come to steal your joy
If he can not see your worth
it's because his
development is in suspension
