Reunited Bloodline Poem by Dorsey Baker

Reunited Bloodline

Aint no
border line
between parent
and child
so much pain
in their heart
so many tears
in their eyes
the mother moans
the baby cries
mass confusion
but sooner or later
its family reunion

reunited bloodline
down at
the borderline
how many
neighbors
can you welcome in
how many
can your house hold
keep them warm
save them from the cold?
your neighbor
becomes your family
wouldn't you agree?
reunited blood line
down at
the border line
