Rewind Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Rewind

Rating: 5.0

With a first breath
The world is new
Never a thought of death
Eagerly seeking…what to do

All senses of recollection
Index experiences gained
Warmth starts the collection
Of impressions contained

Learning a melody
With sounds that appear
Notes created knowingly…
Easing the weight of fear

Taking in the view
Aloft…gaining perspective
Absorbing light from blue…
An aura emerges that is protective

Pale purple lilacs huddle as one
With a scent that sooths the mind
Memories never to be undone
Reborn thoughts... reverse time
