Rhyme And Reason Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

Rhyme And Reason

Rhyme and Reason, where are you?
Your counsel is sought for to end these
enigmatic problems that I, a near
mortal, could never solve lonesome.

Your spirit has been waning like
the moon heading to a new phase.
And when I need thee most
your absence is unbearable.

Words being volleyed like cannon fire
with my possessions the castle at siege
Is truly not fair for such a young
and inexperienced crown.

Please, sweet Rhyme and pure Reason,
return to your temple that is my life
that is so dehydrated for your wisdom
and judgment and restore peace among this kingdom.
