Rhymers They Never Poem by Francis Duggan

Rhymers They Never

Rating: 3.5

Eventually like all they lose out to time
But rhymers they never do run out of rhyme
Not worthy to be considered as poets the literary critics do say
Since with rhyming words they only does like to play
The people who will never know of literary renown
There are rhymers in every village and city and town
In the wordsmith trade never to the fore
They write rhymes for enjoyment and little else more
Rhyme used to be popular many decades ago
But that time with it brings change happens to be so
But that there will always be rhymers only true for to say
The women and men who write rhymes every day
And like everyone eventually they lose out to time
Rhymers they never does run out of rhyme.
