Ridgeline Poem by Tony Jolley

Ridgeline

In wild abandon we made our love on the ridgeline of our youth
Our bodies spoke of intervening years, our spirits only truth:
Truth dormant not diminished
Truth yet incomplete – unfinished
That our love, long-left to linger,
Is our life’s song and we its singers
