Right Path Poem by akram saqib

Right Path

Mere words won't steer this ship across the sea,
Nor will our broken vows bring peace of mind.
No pardon can be bought for breaking decree,
When hearts are filled with falsehood, hard to find.
The Lord knows hearts' deep secrets, every part,
How can we feign devotion, pure and true?
As we cross the bridge that tests the soul's heart,
Dividing good from bad, what shall we do?
