Rise Poem by kharon march

Regardless of drought or lack of light we shall sprout and rise unto the sky with outstretched limbs imploring all the while that there be more sunshine praying that more water will nourish our stems. We will not only survive but we shall flourish and bloom and in the process proving all those who liked to assume ill of us wrong. Oh yes we will rise rest assured never will we look back towards the ground that once contained us never will we beseech to be returned to the soil that restrained our benevolence and beauty.
