Rise Or Fall Poem by Rachel Brewer

Sometimes, in life,
There are moments that define us,
Moments when we choose our destiny,
Some people will rise to the challenge and come out victorious in life,
But others, others will fall, to their knees or to their deaths,
It all depends on the one moment we have,
The one moment when we can choose, if we rise, if we fall.
If we do rise, how do we remain?
If we fall, what happens next? If anything.
We just have to be ready,
Be ready for the day we are called upon,
Ready for the day we rise, or fall.
