Rise Rise Sonnet Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Rise Rise Sonnet

Rating: 4.0

Rise Rise, new day in brightness and in giving,
Awake, awake, let not the dawn be shy.
In golden light, the world anew is living,
Beneath the vast, the ever-changing sky.

The sun ascends, its rays on earth are kissing,
A gentle touch, a warmth that all can share.
Each moment's birth, a chance not for dismissing,
But to embrace, to breathe the morning air.

Rise Rise, in splendor, let your light be sown,
In every heart, let hope and joy be found.
With every dawn, a kindness can be grown,
In every soul, let love and peace resound.

So rise, new day, in brightness and in giving,
In your light, we find our purpose in living.
