Road Rage Poem by Randy McClave

Road Rage

He honked his horn
He then began to rant and rave and scorn,
As he was upset by their driving
Worried about his own surviving.
Then he became his alter ego
It's essence in him then began to flow,
At them he then did look and stare
As he waved his arms and pulled his hair.
He started bouncing up and down
Still ranting and raving and wearing a frown,
Then he began to grunt
Wanting to bite, scratch and confront.
He then starting speaking gibberish
Which of course is no form of English,
And who knows what he was thinking or saying
As we silently began our praying.
Then we patted him on the head
And we all agreed to all that he had said,
Then he was happy when we gave him a little treat
Excitedly we gave him a banana to eat.
Then we finally got off of the highway
Thanks to God we all did pray,
He's always like an animal in a cage
When he's hit hard with road rage.
