Rock Bottom In A Bottomless Pit Poem by Devon Tremblay

Rock Bottom In A Bottomless Pit

Swept away,
By the sands of time
Finally I can say
This Life is mine.

Tonight, amongst many other days
Is no more different
Than that dark haze
That always came
But never went.

Cast out to the Side
I was never given a chance
Throwing me around
I had tried to pull myself together
Instead I would only collect my despair.

Now searching for the moment
The window of opportunity,
Awaiting for the blessing
That will allow me to be set free.
