Rock Climbing Lesson - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Rock Climbing Lesson - Lincoln Park Zoo

Mom's teaching Pilipili to
Be comfy climbing 'round the rocks
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
One of many Mom to son talks.
The young cub's mastered climbing up,
His lion paws put to good use.
He sees that Mom is quite pleased, yup,
And then does get from Mom the news,
It's down time in the habitat.
The up and comer about town,
Pilipili needs to learn that
What does go up, then must come down.

Determined in rock climbing quest,
Pilipili knows Mom knows best.
