Rohingya Drowns Poem by Naseeba Babale

Rohingya Drowns

#PoeticWednesdays

Rohyinga Drowns

Rohyinga is drowning Sisto,
Drowning in the flood
Made from tears of victims
Of cruel inhumanity

Rohingya is stinking Sis
Stinking of the filthy stench
Of callous hearts and wicked
Souls

Rohingya is dying Dear
Dying at the hands of a world
Silent to the deafening cries of
Helpless being

Rohingya is bleeding Maryam
Bleeding from the abyss of
Wounded minds and defiled
Roses

Rohingya is calling Sis
Calling for the mercy
And love of remaining humans!

It is a pity that man with all his civility still plunges too often into awful carnage. Rohingya calls, cries, screams, wails and dies slowly. Something has to be done! ! ! .

Rohingya is dying Dear Dying at the hands of a world Silent to the deafening cries of Helpless being.... //.... The world is inhabited by insensitive parochial beings who will not assuage the bleeding souls. They will rather make fun of their plight. A very poignant piece indeed.
