Role Model Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Role Model

Role model

“What are you; cat, lion? ”
Father asked. As offense.

“Why are you like camel? ”
The mother frowned; said.

Pointing at women, juveniles.
Open-mouthed chewing gum.

One’s comment; in that bus:
“They are whores, female dogs.”

Camels are herbivores
Camels are ruminants.
They graze; always eat
In this way as are sheep.

Best of meals, cotton seed.
They chew; have huge lips
Always wet, foam drips.
Constantly they chew if
Must not be swallowed.

Now-a-day, everywhere
These actions are fashion
In this case camels are,
Our todays’ role-model.
