Some people
Ask me
If all my
Poesies
Are my
Life's
Stories…

Most of them
Are…
But many I also
Write…
Placing myself
In others' lives
Seeing their
Perspectives,
Trying to
Become them
And writing
As if, they
Were me…

It's not always
Easy…to visualise
Others' problems…

There is a
Subtle -
Difference
Between
Empathy
And
Sympathy.

Yet I try to
Role-play
And see
How best
I can
Represent
Them to
Thee…

Do I succeed?
Not always…

But sometimes
Some people
Come up to me
And say…
They wonder why
My poetry reflects
Their life's story…
